Workshops

The Woodward Shakespeare Festival offers workshops for local actors in improving their use of Shakespeare's text, audition techniques, and several other topics. We hope to expand our workshops in the coming year to include introductions on various techniques of movement, voice work, and stage combat.

Upcoming Workshop: Merchant of Venice Cast Workshop.

A workshop focusing on the elements of WSF's approach to using Shakespeare's language.

This session will give each cast member a chance to practice our language method within their text, learn the vocabulary we will use in rehearsal, and be introduced to each other.

Tuesday, April 27 & Wednesday, April 28. 6-9 p.m.

Sarah McCardle Room, Downtown Library, Fresno. (On Mariposa Street).

(cast members need only attend one evening).
