EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
The Woodward Shakespeare Festival now offers a free in-class presentation on the language of Shakespeare and how to use it for teens. This presentation is a great way to introduce a Shakespeare unit in an English class or to get drama students over their fear of performing the Bard.
To schedule a day with Shannon Brewington, our education director, or to get more information please email woodwardshakespeare@gmail.com
Education Director Shannon Brewington has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from U.C. Irvine and is a California State Certified Secondary School teacher in Drama and English with five years' experience in the public school classroom. She is also an active member of the local theater community acting with the Woodward Shakespeare Festival and the Artists Repertory Theatre in Fresno.
ATTENTION EDUCATORS:
If you would like to bring your students to Woodward Park to see our summer shows, the Festival will be more than happy to pay the entrance fee. Let us know when you plan to attend, how many cars will be coming and we will send you the passes. Send an email to woodwardshakespeare@gmail.com. At least two weeks notice is required.

More Opportunities
WSF FREE Summer High School Workshop:
Our first workshop of the summer was successful and had a long waiting list, so we're looking forward to organizing it again in 2010.
This workshop focuses on the performance of Shakespeare's work. We will explore the ways in which actors use their voices, bodies and imaginations to bring the Bard's characters to life. Running just six days, the class meets from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening, and is geared towards high school students. 2-3 workshop sessions are scheduled during the summer months.
Enrollment is limited, so sign up early to make sure you don't miss out! And don't forget. . . it is FREE! For information or enrollment, contact Education Director, Daniel Moore at danielmoore@csufresno.edu
