Auditions

Our 2010 Auditions for The Merchant of Venice and King Lear will take place on:

March 22: Initial monologue auditions-- individual monologues and interview.

Monologue auditions consist of a single Shakespearean monologue (preferably NOT from the plays for which we are auditioning). Choose a piece that best suits your type and abilities. Monologues should be a minimum of 12 lines and run 1-2 minutes in length.

TIME: 6-9 P.M. by appointment

PLACE: California Arts Academy, Severance

1401 N. Wishon, Fresno.

Download the Audition Form in advance, fill it out, and bring it with you to auditions.

March 23 and 24: Call Backs-- individuals called back by artistic director from monologue auditions and past seasons-- scene reading from the plays.

Tues, Mar 23 for Merchant of Venice. Wed. Mar. 24 for King Lear.

TIME: 7-9 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

PLACE: California Arts Academy, Blackstone. (on Blackstone, South of Shaw, Next to Wendy's) in the upstairs LIbrary.
